Editorial Reviews
Another film, more evil than before. Sutek hasn’t given up squashing Andre Toulon's puppets and so now he decides to bring himself to the surface in the form of one of his totems but with equivalent power. Miraculously Torch is back again and he's ready for the fight. But Rick has to defend himself over the deaths of Cameron and his bosses. After the trip to the police station, he is brought back to the Hotel which has been broken into by Dr. Jennings from the institute and a few cronies of his - looking to steal the puppets. Now Rick must do all he can to save the puppets and himself from both Sutek and the evil Doctor. Believe me, this is going to get messy.
Overall: Needless to say, this isn’t the final chapter. It does follow part 4 very closely, which for this series, is a bit unique. Torch has magically appeared after a brief appearance in part 2. The wires for the puppets are very visible when Decapitron fights with Totem (Sutek’s puppet). If you rent this and catch the VideoZone stuff after the final credits role (a bit of behind the scenes stuff), you’ll hear that this film was planned as the last film and the puppets would return in films called “Puppet Wars.” That didn’t happen and 2 sequels have been made. Oh well.
Comparison: Trancers 5 meets House
